Specialty Camps
Summer Extravaganza (entering grades 4-8)
Take your pick from the list of exciting summer activities! Try your hand at
crafts, sewing, cooking, jewelry making, scrap
booking, nature study and oh-so-much more! Each week includes specialized
instruction, swimming and field trips. Week 5 and 9 campouts are from Tuesday – Thursday. Campers meet in the Beck Room at
the YMCA each morning before departing for daily trips and activities. Each
camper provides his/her own lunch, snack, water and closed toe shoes. Camp hours are 9:00 -
4:00.

Extended care weekly rates: $10 for 7:30-9:00 am and $15 for 4:00-6:00 pm.
Extended care is held at the YMCA.
Y-Quest (entering grades 6-8)
Y-Quest will challenge your body and your mind! Camp focuses on self discovery,
travel, new friends and enjoying the summer in Oregon. Each two week
session will include games, service learning, hiking, river sports and a two
night campout. Campers must have access to a tent and sleeping bag. Each
camper provides his/her own lunch, snack and water. Dinner, breakfast and
lunch are provided on all campouts. Campers meet in the YMCA gym each
morning. Camp hours are 8:30– 4:00.

Triple Rise Horse Camp (ages 6-13)
This challenging camp experience takes place at Triple Rise Equestrian
Center, 85687 Pine Grove Rd. in West Eugene. Each day is filled with a total
horse experience including 1-2 hours of riding time, horse care, feeding,
equipment, tack and much more. At camp, campers will learn about general
horsemanship, as well as the responsibilities of caring for a horse. Each
week concludes with a horse show where the campers demonstrate what
they have learned. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from
camp. Each camper provides his/her own lunch, snack and plenty of water.
Campers are required to wear long pants and hard soled, closed toe shoes.
Camp hours are 9:30-3:30. This camp does not offer extended care.
There are 12 campers in each week, and this camp is a popular camp! Campers can sign up for 1 Week . Registration
paperwork will be available at the YMCA on Camp Sign Up Days.
