New Adult & Varsity Youth Classes
start in November.
Our new varsity class is perfect for those youth seeking more advanced instruction and playing opportunities. This will be a very competitive class that will challenge your advanced player.
Our adult lessons are focused on getting new players on the court and having fun, quickly. So, if you have family or friends that are interested in getting started in tennis, please let them know.

Varsity Tennis:
W/F 4:00 - 5:30
This class is reserved for players on high school varsity teams and younger players with USTA rankings and instructor consent. In a fun and enthusiastic environment we offer this is highly competitive class with an emphasis on match play and tournament preparation. Class time is spent on eliminating weakness, developing strengths, singles and doubles strategy, conditioning, movement, and mental toughness.
Cost: 4 week session
Members $90 Community Members: $100 Potential Members: $110
Adult Learn to Play Tennis classes
At the Eugene Family YMCA Tennis Center we create a fun filled learning environment where your success and enjoyment is guaranteed. Sign up soon as space is limited.
Adult Introduction to Tennis
M / W from 6:45 – 7:45
Learn the game of tennis in our fast track tennis class. In a four week, eight lesson session you will learn all of the basic strokes needed to play the game of tennis, as well as how to keep score and simple strategies for both singles and doubles.
Adult Advanced Beginning
T/ Th from 6:45 – 7:45
In session two the emphasis is on developing strategies and tactics for singles and doubles while continuing to refine your strokes. The introduction of specialty shots, movement and how to incorporate spin will also be covered.
Cost: 4 week session
Member $60 Potential Member $80
All or our other youth lessons are open for registration now also. Please call or stop by the Tennis Center to get registered or ask questions.

New Schedule for November
With the additions of the adult and varsity lessons, there have been some changes to the Tennis Schedule. These changes include:
The Adult lessons have taken the place of the drop-in Adult lessons
The Team Tennis 1 & 2 are now both on Saturday afternoons. There is no longer Team Tennis 1 on Friday afternoons.
