5 million steps!
Why Join Us?
Raffle | Guest pass | New Activities | Kick-off Party | Healthy Fun
The idea behind America on the Move is simply, to get people moving. Our Y has lots of fun activities and events planned to help folks find fun, easy ways to get moving and make some lifestyle changes.By adding just two healthy lifestyle changes to your life, you too can begin to feel better and stronger. By adding 2,000 more steps to each day (about a mile) and eating 100 fewer calories, a healthier you could be on the way.
YMCA members from across the nation will be tracking their steps in the hopes of meeting the national goal of 10 billion steps. The goal for the members at the Eugene Family YMCA is to collectively take 5 million steps during that week. We schedule some fun new activities and highlighted some of our member's favorite activities to help us meet that goal and have a great time doing it.
