Just some of the things you hear from a child after being picked up from a day in our Rainbow Room or Friends Room...
Our Preschool Programs offer care ages 21/2 - Pre-Kindergarten. But care isn't all we offer. For each child in our program we offer the chance to discover, explore, grow, create, laugh, succeed, play and dream. And that is just in the morning.
Rainbow Room (Preschool) On-site
at the Eugene Family YMCA, the Rainbow room is our classroom for preschool age
children (2 1/2 - 4). The activities and programming in this classroom are geared
to help your child learn and grow according to his or her age and ability. They
enjoy weekly swim lessons, field trips, creative movement classes, and outside
play to exercise their bodies. Our learning centers and monthly themes challenge
their minds.
Friends Room (Pre-Kindergarten) The focus
of this classroom is specifically designed for children who will be attending
kindergarten the following year. Like all of our programs, the activities and
programming in the Friends room focuses on helping your child learn and grow
according to his or her age and ability. Our learning centers and monthly themes
challenge their minds. They enjoy weekly swim lessons, field trips, creative
