The measure of a community's success is the support and opportunity it provides to children, families, adults and seniors. The Eugene Family YMCA could not provide the services and programs we do without the great work of volunteers. Our volunteers coach teams, help maintain our grounds, read to children, assist our staff in countless ways, serve on our boards, raise financial assistance and capital funds, and much more.

We sincerely thank everyone who has been involved volunteering for our YMCA. We can't do this without all of you!

High School Volunteers

The Eugene Family YMCA is now accepting high school aged applicants to take part as volunteers in our afterschool programs and during no school days/extended school breaks. Volunteers will help run small group activities, games and group projects within our afterschool programs, assisting staff in setting up and carrying out a variety of daily enrichment activities. This opportunity is built to fit into the busy life of today's teen and can accommodate anywhere from one to 15 hours a week, short term or long term for our afterschool programs; and partial or full days on no school days.
