The Y's Art For All Wall is full of color and expression for the next two months thanks to Y member and OSLP Arts & Cultural Artist, Perry Johnson!
Perry Johnson has been an artist at the OSLP Arts & Culture Program since the winter of 2013. A nature portraitist, he favors dramatic facial expressions, family, and his beloved 3 Stooges. Throughout his time at OSLP, his artistic abilites have grown from flat expressive faces to tremendous subtle tones that show off his skills. Always looking for new mediums to explore, he has created memorable clay sculptures and marionettes as well.
The paintings shown at the Y are a collection of his work over the last 8 years and the process he has made. Perry has shown in locations all around Eugene, and the Portland Art Museum.
