Join us for our Fall 2025 three-month series, sharing evidence-based information for improving our physical and mental health through the six pillars of lifestyle medicine. Each of the Sunday afternoon presentations will include a cooking demonstration with samples for all and time for Q&A. At the end of each session, participants will receive 6 to 8 recipes to try at home! All sessions will take place in the Kalapuya Community Room and the Camas Teaching Kitchen.

Topic: Kickstart Your Health: The Power On Your Plate
Tamera Wilhite is a talented and engaging PCRM Food for Life Instructor. Her down to earth and inviting demeanor makes her a highly rated teacher. She was trained at the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine headquarters in Washington DC. Her presentation will include a short lecture, full cooking demonstration and sharing of the food prepared. Her class is intended to introduce fast and easy ways to prepare grains, legumes, and vegetables and increase overall plant intake. She will also provide resources for ongoing support. There will of course be time for Q & A! Come with your appetite – you are in for a real treat!
