Babysitter's Training
Learning to Care for Youth
Who: Anyone ages 11+ (adults welcome too!)
Cost: $130 for Members | $140 for Community Members
Class Date: Saturday, August 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In this one-day Red Cross Babysitter Training, participants will learn to:
- Supervise children and infants
- Perform basic child-care skills such as diapering, feeding, and dressing
- Choose safe, age-appropriate games and toys
- Identify safety hazards and prevent injuries
- Care for common injuries such as burns, cuts, and bee stings
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Find and interview for babysitting jobs
