Trunk-or-Treat Block Party
The Y is thrilled to announce our 4th Annual Trunk-or-Treat event, and this year, we’re turning up the spook factor with a Halloween Block Party!
Join us at the Y's Don Stathos Campus—600 E. 24th Ave.—on Friday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.
This event is FREE and EVERYONE is welcome. Costumes are highly encouraged! Download the event flier in English and Spanish here.
- A beverage and snack food cart
- A "Haunted Hallow Rave" in the Gymnasium, featuring music, lights and Halloween decor
- A spooky (but not too spooky) family movie on a huge screen
- Trunk-or-treating
- Live music played by the visiting U.S. Navy 5-piece band
- An After Party for middle- and high-schoolers—enjoy movies and snacks, try your hand at costume makeup, and more! (registration required)
- And so much more!
No need to register. Families must accompany their children. We can't wait to see you here!
Also, flex your spooky and creative muscles and enter our 2nd annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Drop off your entry on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

- Individuals and local organizations, bring a decorated vehicle to be part of the Trunk or Treat! Apply here.
- Donate a bag of unopened candy/treats to the Y! Just bring it by the Y's Welcome Center in October.
