Halloween Block Party
The Y is thrilled to host our 4th Annual Halloween Block Party, a fun-filled evening for the whole community!
Join us at the Y's Don Stathos Campus—600 E. 24th Ave.—on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m.
This event is FREE and EVERYONE is welcome. No registration is required. Costumes are highly encouraged!
- Trunk-or-Treating—Collect treats from festively decorated trunks and vehicles.
- Truck-or-Treating—Grab dinner, a snack or a sweet treat from multiple food trucks and carts (food available from 4 to 8 p.m.).
- A "Haunted Silent Disco" in the Gymnasium, featuring music, lights and Halloween decor
- Three costume contests throughout the night—Categories to be released soon!
- A spooky (but not too spooky) family movie on a huge screen
- Live music
- And so much more!
For the safety of all participants, children participating in Trunk-or-Treat activities must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
Want to get involved?
- Individuals and local organizations, bring a decorated vehicle to be part of the Trunk or Treat! Apply here.
- Donate a bag of unopened candy/treats to the Y! Just bring it by the Y's Welcome Center in October.
Also, flex your spooky and creative muscles and enter our 2nd annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Drop off your entry on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
