Spanish Proficiency Pay Differential
As part of our commitment to build bridges and to treat all people with equal dignity and respect, our Y seeks to serve our Spanish-speaking community in more welcoming and meaningful ways. One step toward these goals is to attract and retain top bilingual English/Spanish-speaking talent: those who have the skills to more meaningfully engage with our Spanish-speaking community. We offer a pay differential to employees who speak Spanish and who pass an oral proficiency test. Let us know when you apply if you speak proficient Spanish!

Refer A Great Teammate
Great people know great people, and we need your help finding more amazing people to join our YMCA team! If you know someone who would be a great fit for working at the Y, refer them, and you could receive a $250 credit toward your YMCA account!
Here's how it works:
- Tell someone you know about opportunities at the Eugene Family YMCA, and point them to our current jobs page to apply (it's this one!). Ask them to list you as the person who referred them.
- Visit the Member and Family Feedback Form.
- Submit your name and the name of the person you're referring, so we can track your referral.
If your referral is hired and completes 60 days of employment with the YMCA, we'll add a $250 credit to your YMCA account!
Who can participate? Current, active YMCA members, child care families, and program participants are all welcome. You don't need an active YMCA membership if your family is currently enrolled in child care or you participate in a YMCA program.
Please note: The $250 credit is nontransferable, and may be redeemed for membership dues, program fees, add-on items or merchandise.
