Please note, the Aquatics Center (Lap Pool, Small Pool, Splash Pad, Hot Tub and Sauna) will be CLOSED from Monday, Dec. 22, through Thursday, Jan. 1, to allow staff to perform facility maintenance. Thank you for understanding!
Early Closure Dates: The Aquatics Center (Lap Pool, Small Pool, Splash Pad, Hot Tub, and Sauna) will be CLOSING EARLY on Sunday, Jan. 11, Sunday, Feb.1 and Sunday, Mar. 8 at 4:45 p.m. for Lifeguard Training.
Rec. Swim & Special Events
The YMCA's Recreational Swim is the perfect time to dip your toes into aquatics. Whether you're a family ready to make memories in the water, an individual wanting to get healthier, or someone completely new to swimming, Rec. Swim is a great time to enjoy the Y's pools. Our 25-yard lap pool (84°) and our 3- to 5-foot-deep small pool (88°) are each open for Rec. Swim during their regularly scheduled times (see Aquatics schedule below).
Winter Aquatics Activities

January Wibit Time | 4 and up
Join us for an extra special Rec. Swim with our very fun Inflatable Obstacle Course on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 2 to 5:45 p.m.!!! The Obstacle Course is for youth ages 4 and up.
February Wibit Time | 4 and up
We'll be setting up the Wibit floating play structure in the Lap Pool for Rec. Swim on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 2 to 7 p.m. Adults can play too, so bring the family!
Small Pool Movie Night | all ages
Warm up your winter evening with a Small Pool Movie Night! Families are invited to float in a kid-friendly winter-themed pool while we show family-friendly movies. Swim on Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 6:30-7:45 p.m.! Just $3 for Y members, $5 for community members. Registration coming soon!
March Wibit Time | 4 and up
Don't miss out! Our very special Inflatable Obstacle Course will be up again on Wednesday, March 25, time (TBD). Kick off spring break with the whole family. Adults can play too!
Rec. Swim Info
- Rec swim will be limited to 30 swimmers per lifeguard
- It will be on a first come first serve basis, and new swimmers will not be allowed into the pool until previous swimmers exit
Swim Tests & Youth Rules
Youth under 14: Bring an adult. Non-swimmers and children under 14 years of age need responsible adult supervision.
To swim in either the Lap Pool or the Small Pool Deep End, youth under 15 years old must take a Swim Test every time they visit.
The Swim Test includes:
- Jump feet first into the water
- Swim freestyle with rotary breathing across the respective pool
- Tread water for 45 seconds
- Climb out of the pool to the pool deck

Small Pool - Shallow End:
- Youth under 4.5 feet tall must be accompanied by an adult in the water and be within in arm's reach of a supervising adult at all times
- Youth over 4.5 feet tall may swim unaccompanied by an adult
Key Aquatics Center Rules
SHOW RESPECT
- Walk on the pool deck. No running.
- Do not engage in horseplay/rough play.
- Respect the equipment.
- Use Y-friendly language. Foul language or profanity is not allowed.
- Use non-glass water bottles to hydrate. No glass or plastic that will shatter is allowed.
BE RESPONSIBLE
- No person under the influence of alcohol may use the pool.
- Take a cleansing shower before entering the pool or after using the toilet.
- Swimmers who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper.
- No diving except in designated diving areas.
- No person shall swim without lifeguard on duty.
NOTE: There are additional aquatics rules beyond those listed here! Ask a lifeguard if you're unsure.
Lifeguards and Y employees have the final say regarding pool safety and the removal of individuals from the Aquatics Center.
