READY TO GET STARTED?

Please Note - You first need to purchase a Custom Coaching Package before you are able to book custom coaching sessions.

STEP 1: If you haven’t already, download the Eugene Family YMCA app, and log in to your account. ALL custom coaching appointments, including Intake Appointments, must be scheduled through the Y App.

STEP 2: From the home page, select the Schedule page, featured in the menu at the bottom of your screen.

STEP 3: Under the search bar at the top of your screen, you will see icons for the different departments (Aquatics, Community Events, Gym, etc.). Scroll to the green Personal Training icon and click on it. A list of custom coaches and personal trainers will pop up with their bios and options to schedule intakes (if you need to get set up with a coach) and other subscription options (if you need to schedule an appointment with your coach).

STEP 4: Choose a custom coach and select an Intake Appointment or custom coaching package. If you are booking an Intake Appointment, it will direct you to a scheduling page to select a date and time. If you are signing up for a package, it will have you choose a package option before directing you to a scheduling page to select a date and time.

STEP 5: Confirm your selection to book. Return to the Home page (select Home at the bottom of your screen), and scroll down to view your appointment.

Meet Our Custom Coaches

Anders Kinavey Wennerstrom

Anders offers a compassionate and contemplative space for an individually tailored practice. Drawing on experience in yoga, co-active life and leadership coaching, and applied compassion practices, sessions can be more conversational or movement-based, depending on your needs. Whether you're navigating stress, building self-awareness, seeking a more embodied practice or looking for focus, we can integrate contemplative practices, yoga postures and coaching conversation to support your well-being. No experience or flexibility required—just a willingness to pause, notice, and be honest with yourself.

Arielle Bertolone

Arielle has been teaching yoga since 2010. Over the years, her teaching has evolved from a power-focused practice to one that is focused on energetics, one’s internal world, and understanding the importance of the nervous system for a vibrant, embodied life. She encourages practitioners to approach their practice with compassionate curiosity, allowing each time one gets on their mat to be something unique. "I would love to help you find a balance of strength and softness in your own life. I personally have found these to be important components for a resilient body and mind. I can serve many populations and adapt routines to fit your needs, from exploring meditation to incorporating resistance training. Let's create a movement practice that is sustainable and dynamic for your unique body and nervous system."

Brant Rogers

Brant supports people who want to live with greater clarity, well-being and meaning. In coaching sessions, you’ll explore practical ways to meet your life with more presence—physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Your sessions may include mindful movement, gentle strength training, yoga, meditation or supportive conversation—depending on what you need most that day. With decades of experience in contemplative practice, teaching and working with people from many walks of life, Brant meets you where you are and helps you reconnect with your own strength, wellness, balance and purpose. Each session meets you exactly where you are. Brant’s role is to walk alongside you with steadiness and care, helping you reconnect with your own inner resources so you can live the life you most deeply want to live.

Gretl Gauthier

Gretl received her Stott Pilates certification in 2012. Since then she has continued her studies and grown her practice at several studios here in Eugene. In 2022 she received her Chiropractic Assistant certification, deepening her understanding of movement and alignment. She believes in understanding the pathology of imbalance and creating corrective cues that work.

Talia Jensen

Talia is a former NCAA Division I track and field athlete and has a background in triathlons and running. She is a Y group fitness instructor certified in Les Mills BodyPump, RPM, Les Mills Core and Aerobic Kickboxing. She helps clients gain strength and confidence through movement, focusing on proper technique and alignment. As a mother of 3, she knows firsthand how essential fitness is for maintaining both physical and mental wellness. Outside of training, Talia enjoys spending time with family, cooking and hiking.
