Yoga for Every Body: Joint Friendly Paths to Full Expression
Take care of your joints. Deepen your alignment. Discover your most open, authentic expression in each pose. In this 90-minute workshop, we'll begin with gentle, joint-friendly yoga warm-ups to help you move with greater ease and comfort—especially through the wrists, shoulders, hips and knees. Then we'll explore several foundational yoga poses, breaking each one down with time to experiment, modify and discover what alignment and shape feel best for your body. You'll learn how to:
- Safely warm up and support your joints through mindful movement
- Explore foundational poses like Downward Dog and Stepping-through, Warrior II, Child's Pose and Triangle Pose
- Use props and accessible variations to find your most open and expressive version of each posture
- Align from the inside out—building strength, freedom and confidence in your own way
- Adapt your practice for comfort, sustainability and personal empowerment
This workshop is ideal for anyone wanting to move safely, feel more at home in their practice, or learn how to modify poses without losing their depth or beauty. Hands-on support will be provided, if asked for.
