Are you taking on the EWEB Pledge to Prepare campaign? You are not alone! Join us this summer for a free, 3-hour drop-in Pledge to Prepare Summer Social hosted in the Kalapuya Community Room at the Eugene Family YMCA.
Community partners, including staff from Red Cross and Eugene EmComm, will be tabling in the Kalapuya Room, alongside a social gathering for participants of the Y January EWEB Pledge to Prepare series, all connected through a shared focus on community preparedness.
A YMCA member Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteer will also be stationed in the lobby to share additional resources.
Whether you are just getting started or already well on your way, you will have opportunities to learn from the experience of others, connect with neighbors, and enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere with complimentary popsicles.
What to Expect:
- Mingling and social gathering
- EWEB staff available for questions
- Community partner tabling and resources (in the Kalapuya Room)
- YMCA member CERT volunteer in the lobby
- Complimentary popsicles!
Note: Registration is encouraged to help staff gauge an accurate headcount. Community resources in the lobby are open to all.
