EWEB Pledge to Prepare (P2P) Summer Social
Are you taking on the EWEB Pledge to Prepare campaign? You are not alone!
Join us this summer for a free, three-hour drop-in Pledge to Prepare Summer Social hosted in the Kalapuya Community Room at the Eugene Family YMCA. Community partners will be tabling in the Kalapuya Room, alongside a social gathering for participants of the Y January EWEB Pledge to Prepare series, all connected through a shared focus on community preparedness. A YMCA member Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteer will also be stationed in the lobby to share additional resources.
This casual gathering is designed specifically for YMCA members who registered for the Y EWEB Pledge to Prepare classes in January 2026. It is a chance to meet others taking the Pledge, swap ideas, ask questions directly to EWEB staff, and build community around emergency readiness.
Whether you are just getting started or already well on your way, you will have opportunities to learn from the experience of others, connect with neighbors, and enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere with complimentary popsicles.
What to Expect:
- Pledge to Prepare social gathering (for January program registrants)

- Community partner tabling and resources
- YMCA member CERT volunteer in the lobby
- Mingling, conversation and popsicles!

Time: 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (three-hour drop-in window)
