Parkinson's 101 is an introductory educational workshop designed for individuals who are newly diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, their families and care partners, or anyone interested in learning more about this complex neurological condition. Participants will gain a better understanding of Parkinson's disease, what to expect and the resources available to support living well.

Participants will learn about the common signs and symptoms of Parkinson's disease, current treatment options, and practical resources available to help navigate life with Parkinson's.
Whether you are beginning your Parkinson's journey or looking to better support a loved one, this session offers a welcoming environment to learn, ask questions and connect with trusted information.
This program is offered in partnership with Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon, which has served Oregon and Southwest Washington since 1980. Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon empowers individuals to meet the challenges of Parkinson’s disease through information, education, personal support and advocacy for a cure.
