Wellness for the Whole Family!

The PeaceHealth Wellness Center offers something for everyone, be they fitness enthusiasts, those recovering from injury or preventing disease, and people starting their health and fitness journeys.

Youth access to the Health & Wellness Center

The Health & Wellness Center is an adult space intended for members and visitors ages 16 and older. Access is a privilege, and youth under 16 visiting these areas are expected to respect and observe the same rules, safety protocols and etiquette that our adult visitors do. Your Y offers several programs designed to help youth under 16 understand these expectations and earn access to these spaces:

  • Purple Band access: Members and guests ages 10 to 15 can use the Wellness Center with close adult supervision—just check in with Wellness Center staff when you arrive upstairs!
  • Yellow Band access: Middle schooler members* can use the Indoor Track, Spencer Terrace, and Stretching, Circuit and Cardio areas upon completion of the Middle School Fitness Basics orientation program. Read more below.
  • Blue Band access: High school members younger than 16* can use the entire Wellness Center upon completion of the High School Strength Basics orientation program or a Teen Strength Test-Out. Read more below.

*Youth under 16 who have completed our earlier Teen Strength Program will still have Blue Band access, including those currently in middle school.
